Somehow, my year in New York City proved to be the most insane and jam-packed period of my life, ever. And then it ended with a bang: the Rio 2016 Olympics.
Not like that is surprising. But between meeting the love of my life, losing a job, traveling to Canada, turning down a job, battling dirty dishes, marathoning the Barefoot Contessa, and saving a dog’s life, there was more packed into one 365-day time period than seemingly my entire life before me.
After all of that, thanks to a couple incredible mentors, the month of August has become my favorite and most hectic of them all. And it all started with one phone call back in April, asking me if I wanted to go to Rio for the Olympics.
Details will come soon, I promise. But for now, I want to share my favorite moments from an unforgettable trip to my favorite country in the world: Brazil. Be warned: this is a photo-heavy post, and I ain’t sorry.
