The Comeback Kids: Twinkies and Ding Dongs!

When it was announced that Hostess (finally) went bankrupt this last November, devastation swept the nation, and yellow sponge cakes flew off shelves like Harry Potter after sighting a snitch.

Devoted Hostess fans (read: Americans) flocked to eBay, only to find blown up prices of their favorite treats.

But today – the depression ends!

Because it has been officially announced that Apollo Management Group and Metropoulous & Company have bought Hostess, and have plans for reviving the brand (and refilling all of those sad, empty shelves where cheater knock-off brands sit).
