excuse the radio silence on ze blog – a lot of big things in the works over here on the east coast! so many big ideas, too little time. (or just enough – we’ll find out soon enough! 🙂 )
the past few weeks have been jam packed with research, research, research, and a little bit of travel thrown in there as well. a spur-of-the-moment trip to portland and yakima for easter, then a trip to seattle for my best friend’s bachelorette.
grand central station is especially welcoming in the spring, with sunlight flooding into the main terminal. // portland couldn’t help but show off it’s famous cherry blossoms. // yakima was in full show-off mood too with spring flowers. // seriously obsessed with this terminal in the chicago o’hare airport.
seattle sure wasn’t going to let portland take all the credit for gorgeous cherry blossoms in the spring. // the food game in the northwest doesn’t mess around, as evidenced by the insane burger i had at republic and the to-die-for breakfast at portage bay cafe. #eatlikeyougiveadamn // my flight into seattle welcomed me with an insanely clear view of mt. rainier (you can even see mt. hood to the right if you look closely!)
